Summer typically produces flowers with bright, hot colors. We love baptisia, astilbe, phlox, bells of Ireland and hydrangeas. But early in the season, illusive "blue" flowers bloom in bachelor buttons, larkspur and delphinium. In July, we'll start to see zinnias, marigolds, queen anne's lace, herbs, yarrow and lisianthus. And in August we get excited for dahlias, coxcomb, sunflowers, and tansy.
